The Disposable Wound Protector is a sterile, single-use device designed to provide atraumatic retraction and contamination-free access to the surgical field. It offers 360-degree circumferential protection of the wound edge, minimizing the risk of surgical site infections (SSIs) and mechanical trauma during instrument manipulation.

Made from high-elasticity polymer film and flexible rings, the device can be inserted quickly and adapts to various incision sizes. Once deployed, it provides continuous exposure of the operative field while maintaining moist, protected tissue margins throughout the procedure.
