The Disposable EndoBag, also known as a laparoscopic specimen retrieval pouch, is an essential single-use device designed to safely retrieve tissue, organs, stones, or resected specimens from the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic surgery. It helps avoid contamination, prevents spillage, and maintains the integrity of the excised tissue for histopathological examination.
Constructed from tear-resistant, medical-grade polymer film, the EndoBag is deployed through a standard 10–12mm trocar and easily opened inside the abdominal cavity using a rigid or flexible introducer. The drawstring or closure system ensures secure containment before specimen extraction.
